This image was shot in the studio, using Rembrandt lighting. The set was designed using a handpainted backdrop, velvet curtains, and velvet fabric to cover the table. The candles are LED and enhanced in post to give them a better glow.
I used a strobe with a square soft box with grid on my left as the main light, a reflector and a second strobe with soft box were used for fill. During editing I went for a darker edit and went for a more painterly feel.
