A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away... my wife stacked bricks on our front porch.
I do not remember nor do I know why she did this. I'm sure it was for some long forgotten project she wanted me to do.
Anyway, as I walk past our porch 4 to 5 times a day when I take our 2 dogs for a walk, I look onto the porch because this billowy, white spider web has manifested itself on top of our bricks.
I enjoy the irony - or the simplicity of the metaphor - that a spider would build a web in top of human building materials.
That crazy little architect.
