Metegen, Russia. This mountain massif is located in southern Russia in the region of Kabardino-Balkaria. This particular area is rarely visited as Elbrus is nearby and gets most of the tourist attention.
Reaching this peak requires a rather arduous steep hike, or making a deal with a local with a jeep.
The first day was rained off, so i returned the next day (in a jeep this time) to capture this massif now the weather conditions allowed.
