One of the most colourful and surreal sunrises I have ever seen. This is in my local deer park; the Diana Fountain in Bushy Park on the outskirts of London. It is 5 minutes from where I live, and I often stop by this fountain on my way into the park. Most mornings it is grey and/or the wind is ruining the reflection. But this morning in January 2024, just before sunrise, the skies were this amazing red/purple and the water was still. I placed the lighter part of the sky behind the near 400 year-old statue, added on a 3-stop ND filter to remove the ripples caused by birds on the water. And this was the result. Minimal editing to bring back some highlight detail and remove any traces of birds. Canon R7 + Sigma 10-20mm @ 10mm. 20secs at F7.1 ICO200
