I picked and photographed this sunflower from my own garden during the hottest part of the late summer, when most other flowers are looking drab, wilted, and tired. To further emphasize its vibrancy, I desaturated the leaves around the edge of the image. This photo was shot on the Laowa 100mm f/2.8 "dream macro".
