This image was captured in the mountains in Espirito Santo, Brazil during a wedding in 2025. This was immediately after the ceremony as the bride and groom were leaving when he suddenly stopped and kissed her. The story behind this: I was not the wedding photographer (I am terrified of shooting weddings, too stressful) but my stepmom is a well known wedding/event planner in Brazil and insists that I should be photographing them. I mentioned I lack experience in the field and she insisted that I come along for this wedding and practice (she got bride's and official photographer's permission). However, upon arriving and meeting official photography crew, I realized they were not friendly at all and I also noticed that no matter where I went, one of them would purposely block me ( I made sure to not be intrusive and photograph from a distance as well as not interact with bride and groom to avoid distracting them). I live in the USA and am not competition to them at all, so not sure what the deal was. I eventually found a good spot among the guests and managed to get my shots. I used my nikon z8 and Tamrom 70-200mm f/2.8 G2 with the ftz adapter as well as a nd filter since there were lots of clouds moving in and out and light kept changing very quickly, where we would go from full 12 pm sun to overcast .
