Dodging holes on the South Jetty, Humboldt Bay, CA - June 2026. Shot with my GFX100S and the 55mm f/1.7 with a 6-stop ND filter, tracking my wife as she walked. 0.8 seconds at f/8 - On this trip I limited myself to one lens and a few filters and really pushed myself to think outside the box.

The biggest challenges were overcoming the fear of being a half mile out on a 120 year old jetty with the feeling that Pacific Ocean would swallow us up at any moment. :)
