So why is this photo scary? I shot this dead at night far up in the woods of Sweden. Pitch black, exept my headlight and my umbrella with a flashlight to light paint some of these cars. There were sounds. I don`t know what sounds, and where they came from.. The driver is Dead. Back in the day, parts of Scandinavia had a custom. Or tradition if you like; To have a car at that time, was a huge investment, only for the lucky ones. And for those saving up for years. And the owner was very proud. And if the owner was very very exceptionally attached to his car, they were often left in their car after they passed. Passed away seated behind the wheel in their beloved car. At the car cemetary.. Still up to this day, remains of the owners can be seen in some of the cars. So it was very scary all alone far away in the dark woods dead at night..
