Remnants of one of the few buildings left standing after fierce naval bombardment and ground fighting in Dong Hoi during the Vietnam war. Pock marked with bullet holes, this former church tells a haunted story of the pain and agony of war while its entryway offers a view of the infrastructure that arose from the destruction. An overcast cloudy January day was ideal for this shot - Nikon D610 w/ 80-200mm tele. Basic LR adjustments only.
