If you saw the Apple Event today does anyone else think the hype over the built-in speakers to be a bit ridiculous?
As it's nearly impossible to calibrate an M1 laptop for now, I think that will be a nightmare also on this display.
By the way, for the price I prefer to have a look to Eizo, BenQ or Azus to have better color rendition, a wide range of important color profile (such as Pantone, aRVB, Profoto, ProFot, ...)
I do not need an embed cam as I am using a real camera.
I do not need a 5K display as I need 1 to 1 pixel rendition as designer.
I do not need marketing and geeky stuff but a performer for years.
My Eizo have now 13 years, and his connected via and displayPort to USB-c cable to my MacBook Pro M1 Max (yet it's not 4k, does not have modern video rpofile but works with 99% of aRGB and full Pantone / CMYK profile from the industry).
I can't imagine an Apple Display doing the same in 13 years.
Two Apple Cinema Displays 30´,bought in April 2007, still working fine without any problems. 15 Years.!!!
Cinema displays were like gems. I agree. Love them.
Unfortunately this new dislpay is more a geek display than a pro display. Not as the past Cinema Display.
