I hear the highlight roll-off sucks.
I hear that various pros who have reviewed it have bought one or two after reviewing it (eg. Philip Bloom, who is not a Sony fanboy, and his 1+ hour in depth review).
Show an example of the HL roll-off and how it compares it it's competitors, since, I'm sure, you are very objective in this.
Poor HL roll-off in 10bit files and LOG? How about in the 16bit files?

Who's Philip Bloom? Jk, i know who he is. I got in an argument with him, and absolutely nothing he said i disagreed with cause i already knew, but he would never answer my questions and proceeded to call me stupid and a waste of his time. For all intents and purposes, i won that argument, although he'll never admit to it.
That's a good question. It has to be better in 16bit because of the increased color variation.
Reviews are IMHO, just a front page. I think the best way to know for sure if a camera performs as one expected is by renting it out and use it.
