Nikon Drops First Teaser for Z6 III

It has been a while, but the wait is about to be over. While leaving out many details, the new Z6 III is on the way.

Nikon dropped another of those teaser trailers again. The kind they’ve been known for since they started making them for the Z9 a few years ago. But this time, the teaser is for the long-awaited update to its Z6 line of cameras.

The Nikon product line now encompasses everything from smaller vlogging cameras up to flagship mirrorless bodies, and the original Z6 is the one that kicked them off in the mirrorless world. Yet it has been a while for existing Z6 users awaiting an upgrade. So what will we see in the new model?

You won’t get many answers from the trailer. We see photographers using the product to shoot everything from wildlife to run-and-gun video. The trailer ends with a date: June 17th at 8 a.m. But no specs are listed.

Nikon has been on a roll as of late when it comes to releasing new products. The Z9 is arguably the best flagship camera on the market. The Z8 is essentially a smaller and less expensive Z9 in many ways. The Zf has proven popular for everyday street and travel photography.

So what does the Z6 III have in store? Now is the time for speculation. So, what do you want to see in the new body? What clues have you picked up from the company’s sneak peek? And what are you excited about the most?
