A Review of the Canon RF 50mm f/1.2L USM Lens

Canon's RF lenses have generally been well received, being noted for their high optical quality, even when compared to some of the company's best EF mount glass. This great video takes a look at the RF 50mm f/1.2L USM lens from its performance to its image quality.

Coming to you from Dustin Abbott, this excellent video review takes a look at the Canon RF 50mm f/1.2L USM lens. I have had the original EF 50mm f/1.2L for quite some time now, and it is a fun lens full of character that has made me appreciate a focal length I never really cared for again. Nonetheless, it was not the greatest lens technically speaking at wider apertures, and there were plenty of times I wished for a bit (or a lot) more sharpness when I shot it wide open. The RF 50mm f/1.2L certainly seems to have made some serious progress over its EF cousin. Of course, the downside is that Canon's new RF lenses come in at quite expensive prices, though if you're looking for quality, they seem to be quite impressive.
