Venus Optics Announces the Laowa 100mm f/2.8 2X Ultra Macro Lens for Canon RF and Nikon Z Cameras

Venus Optics has announced the launch of the Laowa 100mm f/2.8 2X Ultra Macro APO Lens for Canon RF and Nikon Z mounts.

Following on the from the Sony E mount version released last summer, the Nikon and Canon versions are now available from B&H Photo for $449. Venus Optics is proud to mention that the Canon EF and Nikon F-mount versions were recently awarded “Best DSLR Macro Lens” by the Technical Image Press Association (TIPA).

While most telephoto macro lenses typically focus at 1:1, the Loawa 100mm f/2.8 lens also offers 2:1. In addition, it can also focus to infinity, making it a viable option for product and portrait photography.
