A Whole New Way to Edit Your Photos and Transform Your Workflow

Is editing with a mouse good enough? Customize your workflow for both photo and video to take your editing to new heights.

Laura BC, a renowned photographer and YouTuber, recently shared a video about enhancing your photography workflow using Loupedeck. Traditionally, Laura used her trusted Logitech MX Master 2S mouse for editing, a tool she still highly recommends. However, her recent experience with Loupedeck has transformed her approach. The Loupedeck is a compact, fully customizable console that integrates seamlessly with various software applications. It allows users to create personalized workspaces and profiles tailored to their specific editing needs.

Laura highlights the dynamic and intuitive nature of Loupedeck. With its drag-and-drop functionality, users can easily assign actions to different buttons and dials, streamlining their workflow. For instance, Laura demonstrates how she can open applications like Lightroom with a single touch, significantly speeding up her editing process.

In the video, Laura navigates through her photos in Lightroom, applying presets, adjusting hues, and adding creative touches like vignettes. The console’s versatility extends beyond photography; Laura also uses it for video editing in DaVinci Resolve, highlighting its multifaceted utility for content creators.

In conclusion, Laura acknowledges that while Loupedeck is not a necessity, it significantly enhances the editing experience. It offers a fun, dynamic, and efficient way to manage various editing tasks, making it a valuable addition to any photographer or filmmaker’s toolkit. Laura encourages viewers to explore Loupedeck, check its specifications, and consider integrating it into their workflow for an elevated creative process.

I was hoping after recent events that creators would stop pushing Adobe products. Or, assuming everyone uses them. Guess I was wrong?

Large workflow changes take time for busy creators, she is already learning to incorporate a Loupedeck, one thing at a time is fine.

--- "Guess I was wrong?"

Yes, you were.

1. She wasn't pushing Adobe products. The video was about that Loupedeck product.

2. She wasn't assuming everyone uses Adobe products. It just happens to be the software she uses. And, from looking around, looks like it can be setup for almost software, even browsers.

I love MIDI controllers for music creators... For photos graphic tablet all the way... Yet she is editing on laptop... Not a hope..

New? More like 4 years new...

I've had a Loupedeck CT for about 3 years now. I bought it because I hate mouse sliders. I set mine up so that 80% of my slider work can be done with knobs. I can't imagine going back. I've got a coding background and I spent about 40 hours customizing my CT, so be prepared for that.

My Loupedeck sits on my desk full time and I use it for standard PC functions as well as for my editing work.

Same but without the coding background. :)

Same. In every aspect :-)

I bought my Loupdeck Live after several experiments with cheaper controllers like Xencelabs, and I love it. Setting up might be a bit complicated for complex tasks, but it's fun and productive.

I looked at the LoupDeck but choose the TourBox Neo as my preference of great utility device with functional programmable options and have never looked back.
