Wanted to experiment with OCF lately, so I put together a shoot with some of my favourite vendors in the industry. This is the first time I shot with a dedicated lighting assistant and it was awesome :D

Focus Stacking ~ New to Me

Vintage Lens
Another visit to our garden using a vintage lens (Canon FD 50mm f/1.4) on my Canon R5. NOTE: With this lens the minimum focusing distance is 18" at which point you have 1/4" depth of field.

Great job. Use a "light-person" on every job and it will rock your world! We have photographed hundreds and hundreds of weddings since the late 1980's with a "light-person" and it is how we create portrait-style lighting in virtually every image.
How does one find such an assistant? Is it a dedicated trade, or a second photographer you train in the art?
You call a photographer friend and ask them to be your assistant :)
