Macro Leaf

It had been long since I last took a macro photo, but I went out the day before yesterday for a photoshoot, and having ran out of inspirations, I picked some leaves and started my way back. That night I closed myself in a dark room at home and shined a torch through a leaf. And this is how it turned out:
P.S. I tried to give it an antique look, and if you couldn't figure out that it is a leaf, try tilt your head to the right. By the way, tell me if you want to see the original photo in the comments!

This is easily some of your best work. I love the glow and pattern shown in it.

Thanks! Which one do you prefer? (*^-^*)

The issue with that question is my opinion changes every time I look at them. That's why I waited so long to comment in the first place. This time around I prefer the top one though.

Me too!

I love the way you have brought out the intricate details in the leaf Hunter. Definitely a process you can pursue further.

My personal preference is for the first image due to the use of earthy tones. I also think this would be good as an abstract set, using a variety of colors.

Thanks! I'll start working on the abstract set tomorrow. What color combinations do you recommend?

I think you have to follow your gut ant your own artistic style.

I would personally experiment with a set of bold & vibrant colors, and also A second set with colors of nature Geen/blue/brown with an earthy undertone (in line with your first image)

Thanks! I'll certainly try that!
