Reflections

Late sun reflecting off the water flowing down rock in a local stream. If I had another chance, I should have taken this at 1/1000th of a second to catch the water falling in a "frozen" state rather than the blur.

This is really cool, Charles. I like it a lot.

Thanks!

Hi Charles - thanks for posting. I like the color and texture in this. As for the water I am wondering what this would have looked like with a longer exposure to draw out the water, as well as your suggestion of keeping it sharp.

There's no wrong in trying multiple versions to see what turns up.

Yeah, I've tried some different speeds but I prefer higher speed "frozen" falling water shots. I take a lot of shots to get the right moment. Here's a 1/60th second shot.

The thing about the water is that the flowing leaves nearly limitless potential versions depending on shutter speed and the exact moment.

Yeah, I've tried a couple different speeds but right now, I'm liking the higher speed, "frozen" moving water shots.
