I am sure you have posted some of these before, or some very much like these. I like them but am curios, why shoot pictures like these if the depth of field is what you are trying to assess? I realise an 85mm is a classic portrait lens and an f1.4 is capable of very shallow dof. But these images are quite 2D, so not what I would have expected you to shoot to see the dof performance?
What have you concluded about the lens? Are you thrilled with it?
