It is quite well done, if a bit "old hat" pun intended, sorry. What would I change? If there was room I would have moved the light further out, so to even up the light on the hand and the face/collar which would look mor elike the real world, say a street sceen than a small studio. I might have had just a hint of ton eto the background behind the head. Finally I might have used amuch more flamboyant tie and tried one without tie, just an open collar. But ir is a good image quite well done.
I like this image as it stands, maybe a bit of lighting balance between hand and face could be done in post. I would crop much tighter on top and right side, just keeping the empty space on the left side of the image as it is. Nice job though.

I did have a dilemma about it.
on one hand, i wanted the hat to almost a silhouette, and on the other I thought that more light will look better.
I ended up somewhere in the middle :)

I am such a fan of heavy contrast....I LOVE it!
