I must admit I have been lax in both my shooting and posting recently, perhaps due to the fact my wife has now retired, and we are spending a LOT more time together doing various activities.

I dont know what exactly, but I dont like something. The water is pretty nice, but the sky ... do you have apply a radial filter ? The top of the tree look strange, but I like the bottom of the image water and rocks are very nice
so i used a CPL filter and a 6stop ND filter then put it into photoshop layered for darks highlights and midtowns erased the parts of each to bring out certain spots in the scene i believe it was a 30 second shot F8 iso 100 !8mm 7A.M. cloudy conditions. gotta be honest i don't love the shot I'm in my learning stages thats why I'm asking for a critique and help to improve.
Could you try to upload different crops ?
yeah ill try i later the angle of the shot didn't really lend itself to other possibilities
I feel like you could have given the trees more color/detail. The rock in the foreground is a bit distracting too. It would be nice to see more sky too. Otherwise it is a nice shot!
