Very nice.

I really like this! Well done, John.

It's an interesting shot. I think the window lighting is beautiful. A couple of things don't feel quite right to me though. His hands, both hanging down as they are almost look dead. And I'm confused by what this image is trying to say (maybe because I'm old and confuse easily). The walls are very distressed, but he's in a tux in a lovely chair, and he's smiling. The message seems discordant. I think I would like to see a little more of the window to get more of a hint at what he's smiling at, and straighten it to the edge of the image.

I think I agree. I also felt like the contrast between his pants and jacket etc. are quite different. So much so that I feel like I am watching him slowly fade into the wall. Agree about the hands. Not a bad shot though!

Paul Sokal thanks! That was great feedback. I agree about the hands looking dead. That has bothered me about the image. I left the window out because this older building was saved from destruction and updated as an event venue. The windows are very modern and commercial and don't really compliment the feel of the distressed walls.
