Thanks Ameet, i believe the highlight is caused by some funky lights she has wrapped around her bedframe, which was camera left. i used a 50mm (Crop sensor) @ f1.8.
Lovely. Full of life and fun, just as she should be.It would have been better to have her whole face in the same light, avoiding the uneven exposure and if the stray hairs near her eyes had been managed but who cares its really very nice.
Thank you Ian, I didn't notice the highlight when i was taking the shot, was more concerned about getting her to keep still. how hard to you think it wold be to remedy that in PP?
I would expect to be able to blend the edge so it is much less distracting/obvious, without too much difficulty. How much more than that I could do is hard to say, but I think quite a bit of an improvement might be doable, with some time and trial and error.
She obviously enjoyed the shoot, holding still for you and keeping the smile looking so lovely, good on her.
Cute and mischievous little angel! Would have loved a tad less shallow depth of field to have the bangs and mouth in focus as well!
Great eyes
She's up to something alright.. Nice capture.
I keep looking at the hard edged highlight along the right side of her face and down her chin.
Very nice ! What lense did you use ? Was there a mirror to her right side where there is a highlight ?
