Chickadee on a dreary day...please provide feedback

This particular day was a grey overcast affair, but I decided to try my luck anyways. I took this shot of a chickadee in a tree in challenging light conditions. The shot was somewhat under exposed and did my best to rescue the photo as I liked the bird. Please provide any feedback on what you would have done differently.

Not a bad rescue job. It seems like the brightest spot of the photo is near its rump when I think it should be the white around the head/eye to draw the attention there instead. If you aren’t opposed to cloning I would remove the vertical twig that the chickadee is looking right into to make the photo flow better. Nice job making do in challenging conditions.

Thanks Ryan. I agree with the cloning and will give it a shot...I'm kind of new to Photoshop. Also agree with the brightness comment...good to have a second pair of eyes reviewing the photo...much appreciated!
