While shooting on a foggy morning at a local state park a little killdeer kept walking through my shot. So much so that i broke my setup and laid down on the ground a ran a few dozen exposures at it as it pranced around looking for food.
Shot on a canon eos 6d with a Tamron di 70-210mm f4 vc usd at 210mm
Location:Mosquito Lake State Park, Ohio
This is so different from any Killdeer images I have ever seen. I do not associate Killdeer with this type of woodland habitat. Just when I think I know the species, they throw me a curveball!
Great job on a wonderful, dreamy environmental portrait!
Thank you! It was my first time ever seeing that bird. I had to look it up when i got home.
Beautiful. A complete pleasure to look at. I'm originally from Cleveland, where is this State Park?
Thank you! Its located in Trumbull county in warren near the Walmart. About a little over an hour south east of Cleveland.
Nice atmosphere
Thank you!
