Help please!

Hi guys,

Would you please check my profile and give me some ratings (perhaps some CC too)?

Iā€™m not asking for high ratings to increase my average, just be honest and give whatever you think it deserves so I can have enough ratings to get averages and maybe be able to post some more photos!

Thanks in advance!
Have a great day

That's quite a collection of different work which is awesome to see. You don't seem to limit yourself in what you want to shoot.

For landscapes, I would suggest being more selective on the time of day and weather conditions. The locations look great though.

For the wildlife, two things to think more about are your shooting angle so you're more eye level with them and wait until the animal's head angle is slightly turned towards you rather than away from you. Sometimes those moment happen so fast it's hard to get it right so you will want to keep shooting when their head is faced away and you anticipate a head turn, but when culling definitely look out for the ones they are looking towards you and your portfolio will instantly improve.

Thanks for sharing with us!

I agree a lot with Ryan and his comments. Be much more selective, portfolio shots are supposed to be the cream of the crop. what can you do under planned conditions, attention to details, and putting in the time post edit (not shot can be planned but is there something unique to the shot, does it evoke a certain mood etc, well documented location, or does it highlight your post processing capabilities....). I'm not a big wildlife person so there are people who are more qualified here to give you advice about that. My say on this is get as close as possible. I've shot wild life with a 16mm on my camera (within arms reach of a seal). The closer you get and less you zoom, always provides a better image.
