I've been hoping for the chance to photograph an Osprey catching a fish making a big splash for a long time. So many things have to go right, so many things can go wrong. But I finally had a decent opportunity. I got several fishing action pics that day, but I think the splash was the biggest on this one. Got to check it off my list, but as always, hoping for better next time.

You are right David but, in my case, being at the right place at the right time involves a lot of time and effort!
totally understand. I currently have a 200 mile round trip to get to my favorite site for Eagles, Loons and Osprey.
