Daphnie in natural light

Hey guys, so I figure its time that i posted something. This is a portrait I did for a friend in October last year, shot in natural light using a reflector. Iso 100, f2.8 I think. I retouched it personally. Comments and critiques are welcomed. :) Cropping, lighting, retouching, anything that you like or think may help. THanksss

Great portrait man!
Here are my humble critiques:
I would prefer her to have a smile or and expression that is more towards happiness to show a little bit of emotion and i also prefer to have the predominant eye in the middle of the frame as composition.
Nice retouch, keep posting =)

:D As funny as I like to think I am, she was one tough cookie. I definitely will be posting more though. Thanks Nelb.

A very pretty girl in a nice setting/light situation but the reflector is causing her to squint, which is what happens on very sunny days. A soft white, or other colour, reflector is easier to cope with in sunny weather. The alternative is to use flash but that is a much bigger topic with sync speeds etc to be discussed, so another time and another place.

Depth of field is good and with flash that would be harder to achieve unless you have high sync speed flash enabled equipment.

Thanks Ian, I'll shot with the soft white of the reflector the next time that I shoot. Tbh I don't think I ever shot with that side. I always tend to go silver or bronze. Luckily I have plenty of sun to try it. :)
