Be gentle! I'm new to this lighting thing. :)
While playing around with a lighting setup in my basement I decided to get a bit more dramatic with the lights and ended up with this. Well...ended up with this after some editing, but you know what I mean. I think it turned out pretty good but I have no idea what others really think. Any suggestions or feedback would be appreciated.
The style of this image is cool. I would of liked to see both eyes a little better. But still looks sick!!
I believe Michael is correct here. In a shoulder shot portrait, I would want to see the eyes. That would have made this great! It is very dramatic though.
Generally two eye are good but not essential in a dramatic shot of this type. On the other hand I would have tried for a very little detail to the left side either in his clothing or in the background. On the right it looks great. What can I suggest to add something? A slightly grubby or sweaty face or seeing his breath. His sweat shirt or t shirt colar might have been better if a little older looking. Hell it is good job well done.
