Lee Morris's picture

Help me Photoshop my new series

As you may or may not know, for the last 4 months Patrick and I have been traveling around the world with Elia Locardi filming our next tutorial on all things landscape and travel photography. During this 4-5 month period, I never shaved. I let my beard grow to an obnoxious length and finally last week I was able to shave it all off. I had a little fun and came up with 8 different characters.

I've decided to give these files out to you, the Fstoppers community, to see what you are capable of doing with them. You can download the RAW files here: www.rlmorris.com/webpics/leepics.zip .

On Thursday April 15th I will pick my favorite edit from each look and post them on to Fstoppers.com with attribution to each of the editors. I will also give each of the winning editors their choice of one of our digital tutorials found in the Fstoppers Store.

Hint: Although I love laughing all of the hilarious entries, I am only going to choose winners that will work with the series as a whole.

Was really excited when I saw this! Happy I was not too late. There is an atmosphere of elegance, ease and yet raw manliness I perceived from this shot I decided to work on. It was simple but yet elegant. It was a portrait of Lee Morris.

Goin' my way?

Elementary...

I thought you should have grown your beard out a little further.

Second in the series.

Jake Sul-lee... the return of the avatar.

Hahahahahaha!

How I see Lee

Dime Novel

Just to keep it simple.. Trying to use dragan effect or maybe dave hill effect on this picture... hope u like it... ;)

Lee, Here are two more for you to ponder. Is the cowboy looking left or right?

"Leif Magnus"

Wow this is well done

Agreed! Details in the beard are very nice. The color with is great. I feel a chill just looking at it.

Thank you both!

Congrats! I chose this image as a winner for the contest. You can see the final post here: https://fstoppers.com/commercial/photographer-took-most-hilarious-beard-.... Send me a private message of which tutorial you would like from the Fstoppers Store.
