I don't normally shoot in a studio but I had been wanting to try out some lighting techniques.
Interested to hear anyone's thoughts on the result:

Your lighting techniques seem very good to me. A very stylish and luxurious image.
My only negative is nothing to do with lighting, I'd guess, but rather make-up or editing, not sure. Her face looks slightly too heavily made-up/edited. Her legs have a similar warmth to her face but her body is a much paler and cooler colour. To me the legs look too warm almost as if she is wearing hosiery, perhaps she is. I think the more natural skin tone of her tummy is the more attractive colour to match her legs to, rather than the other way round. Of course, her face is also over-done, imo. but we are used to faces being made up so this is less of a problem.
All told, a veery good job, especially considering you don't work in a studio often.
Thanks Ian. You are right, her legs are warmer and it bugs me too but it is from her leggings! Perhaps the dodging on the face is a bit too soft which gives it that over the top look? The makeup was pretty heavy to begin with. I agree about the difference in face tones to body. I think I had more light falling on her stomach which I should have moved up and feathered off of her face more.
Very good lighting for someone who does not do studio shoots very often. Nice job.
Pretty good for not normally shooting studio. That's all I've done this year and I can't get this haha
Thanks Jordan, I watched a lot of videos! The Westcott and Profoto youtube channels are a great source for information.
