Richard II

Hello, again . . .

Ian McCann had said," I would be interested to know if you have any other versions, with less fill from below, to add further impact." So, I presumed to share another version of my friend, Richard. As always, additional comments and/or feedback is (are) welcome.

From memory I liked the other Richard shot but I like this rather better. The smile is nice althought that is not my reason. I prefer the composition, which is much more balanced and works very well. Although the hat did not need to be cropped. I don't think the lighting is much different but that is not a bad thing as the lighting was very good, as it is here. I can't tell if there is any different level of fill from reflected light coming up from below the lens but it looks great, so I am not worried. Nice job.

Austin, Texas Blue Hour

Was down in Austin for a bit on a work trip. I've always heard how beautiful the skyline is from the river.

Was a little let down by the clouds, but what can I do!

Two from Tenerife

My two favourite images from my recent night time adventure in Tenerife. Foregrounds and skies were shot separately and blended in PS.

Any interest in this group?

Hi all, I was looking for such a group but see that although there are many members there hasn’t been a single post. Is there interest out there in getting this group going?
