Vintage Lens
Another visit to our garden using a vintage lens (Canon FD 50mm f/1.4) on my Canon R5. NOTE: With this lens the minimum focusing distance is 18" at which point you have 1/4" depth of field.
Any interest in this group?
Hi all, I was looking for such a group but see that although there are many members there hasn’t been a single post. Is there interest out there in getting this group going?
Vintage Lenses
I thought I would try out my 50 year old lenses: Canon FD 50mm f/1.5 SSC and Canon FD 28mm f/2.8 on my Canon R5 with the use of the appropriate adapter.

An excellent face, excellently portriad. Just enough separation between the T shirt and the background, more would have been better, but it is just OK, because of the kicker. His hair and face, fab, just fab!
I love the expression and the lighting. A little more light on the shoulders would have been a little better but it is still solid. What fstop? the beard seems a little soft and like you up'ed the clarity to fix. Be careful on focus, maybe stop down a little more to add sharpness to the beard. Great shot though. Love the concept
Fantastic shot! Maybe a little tiny it hot on the forehead, but overall really nice!
great shot....
love the lighting
Very nice, Peter!
