Vintage Lens
Another visit to our garden using a vintage lens (Canon FD 50mm f/1.4) on my Canon R5. NOTE: With this lens the minimum focusing distance is 18" at which point you have 1/4" depth of field.
Any interest in this group?
Hi all, I was looking for such a group but see that although there are many members there hasn’t been a single post. Is there interest out there in getting this group going?
Vintage Lenses
I thought I would try out my 50 year old lenses: Canon FD 50mm f/1.5 SSC and Canon FD 28mm f/2.8 on my Canon R5 with the use of the appropriate adapter.

Technically this is very good, depth of field, colour, lighting, dynamic effect from the Dutch angle. However, she could look a bit more engaged with you/us. A bit more of a smile perhaps. She seems to be not quite looking into the lens, so to be avoiding making eye contact with us. This is not ideal. Better to have her looking off than not quite on line.
Retouching is not my forte but to me this pretty woman who has good skin could do with just a hint of an "airbrush". Not more.
Maybe a hint of warmth would also help her skin colour.
Main thing is her expression is just off engaging and that is a shame.
tqvm sir..will improve for the nx shoot..
