Model Headshots
I recently took these photos for a model. She was great to work with and it was a great experience. Just looking for feedback on the photo. I really like taking headshots and want to continue to grow.

An afternoon out on the water
It was mid September late in the afternoon, a group of sailboats were out on the water enjoying the weather, there was a soft breeze blowing, pushing on the sails.

Pretty woman, however it looks like someone hit her in the eye. I looks like flat lighting from a single strobe either on top of the camera or camera right. Suggestion: move her away from the wall, raise the light a bit, perhaps a bit of makeup to cover the bruise or discoloration near the models right eye and click away. Good luck to you.
The mark underneath her eye is her birthmark and she wanted one picture showcasing that. Also thank you for your feed back and you're right it is a single light above the camera being held by a C-stand.
Agree you need to move her away from the wall. I assume the area under her right eye is a birthmark and that is why she didn't try to cover it? Judging by the catch lights it looks it looks like a clam shell setup. What I'm not liking is the pose. Frankly it looks more like a mug shot. Turn the shoulders, tilt the head, and draw out some emotion from her.
You are correct it is her birthmark and it is a clamshell setup. Thank you for your feedback. Looking at it now I see i need to bring out more emotions.
