Nice and natural colors, can I ask what kind of presets did you use?
Lighting Octabox & Reflector I guess?

120 cm octabox from the top and a softbox to fill the shadows from the bottom.... i don't use presets i only use curves, levels and color balance.

Lovely photo of a lovely girl beautifully lit. However the background is distracting. Yes it is dark and soft, which helps but not good. It is a shame that the girl looks so professionally shot and the background ruins that professional look. Given the obvious skill you have, I realise you may have had reasons to use this background but non the less somewhere different was needed.

i totally agree with you i messed up with the background ....to be honest there were no options for a different location so the reflection of the light sources ruined the background...all i can do now is some post processing to solve this problem...thank you so much for the feedback Ian.

If there was truly no alternative background, then by shooting at an angle to the window the reflection of your light can be made to disapear out of frame or totally behind the sitter. When you know something is not right, figure out how to solve the problem, don't just comfort yourself by saying there was no alternative.

I am sceptical about about the lack of alternative backgrounds. Life teaches us that when no obvious opportunity to do what is needed exists then we have to be creative and determind, thinking outside the box and refusing to take no for an answer and use difficulties to force a better idea to solve or get round the problem. I guarantee, if your life had depended on getting a great shot with a much better background we would not be having this conversation because you would have come up with something much better, even if the shot was very different. Anyway, that's my 40 years of experince talking, you may not like my comments but if you take my advice you will make much faster progress and enjoy your photography more and longer and your progress will be rapid and rewarding. Remember you have skill and kit the rest is determination and relentless attitude, to not accept the easy solution when you know it is not the right solution.

thanks for the valuable advises Ian, and i agree with every single word you said
