Odd thing, when I start following notible people with a decent following I get bombarded by business instagram accounts. I don't mind it, if they're legit and don't post spam comments which some have and reported. Just curious as to others, do you simply ignore it, report as they spam comment?
When I get followed by a spam account I block them if I happen to notice it. They just bring down your engagement ratio. Spam comments anywhere I see them on IG get reported.

Yup, what Ryan said. If you spot a fake account or see comments coming from someone blasting off fake posts just report for spam or block them. I def try and do it with my followers because it will hurt engagement ratio. I lost about 2000 followers when Instagram deleted spam accounts. I still get the same likes and comments I did before just fewer crap accounts to inflate my numbers.
