Not a fan of this shot. Tourists and boring light make it look like a holiday snapshot. You need to be there when the public is still in bed or when they are enjoying their evening meal and the sun is low and the shaddows extended or even with moon light.

Actually, in Bryce Canyon there must be better views. Those rocks are nice but Bryce Canyon, ye gads and little fishes, it is full of great images, just waiting for your lens, surely. Wish I had been there, wow!

Spot on Ian.
Phillip, in my opinion I think you should use some more time on finding the right location to shoot your photo. Photographers usually can go and wait for the right time for weeks before they are lucky with the weather, light etc. Do some sightings around the area where you want to take photos. Take some quick shots of possible good lokations. Go home, look at them and plan what you aim for. Get some ideas and so, plan what you want to do next time you go out. Then you are prepared.

I have to agree with some of the other guys in here, your past few photos looks like holiday photos. Don't take it to harsh because I hope you post in here to learn and evolve your skill in taking landscape/nature photos.
