Hi John! The colors in this photo are great, and i like the way the river leads your eye from the bottom center to the bridge. I would have gotten higher on a hill maybe to include more land, and also not cut off the nearby mountains and hills that you cropped out.
I don't know if there was a better vantage point. I assume not, or you would have used it, I guess. I love the blackish mountains behind the bridge and the bright autumn colours. It lacks something but barely. The bridge being partly hidden is the problem, I guess. Or maybe the fact that we can't see the water under the bridge is the problem. I am not sure. However, it is lovely in many ways and the combination of light, shade and those colours, a winner everytime. Perfectly exposed and very nicely framed.
