Hello everyone.
This is a blend of four images. One for the fog, One for the sky and two (bracketed) for the foreground. How do you like my blend (does it look realistic). And how do like the rest of the post-processing? Any other thoughts are welcome as well (;
The transition from fog to clouds is a little too sharp perhaps? But maybe it actually looked like that. I think it's a great photo and the blend looks realistic.
The shoreline often has a wierd, unreal, look and so does this, so perversly it looks perfectly real, if you know what I mean. I don't think anyone would think, that must be a composite image, which is a good thing. Some might think, that it may be a composite, which is understandable and real shots sometimes make people wonder about these questions. Who cares? It looks good, very good actually, although I think the bright green in the shady part of the foreground could be subdued a little to help the eye go into the scene, more. Good job.
Thank you for your comments!! I'll definitely work a little more on the fog! And after looking at it again, I agree that the green could be a little more muted!
