Hi this is another picture taken during my recent trip to the Annapurna Base Camp in Nepal. This particular shot was taken from a village called Chomrong minutes after the sunrise. Soon after i took a couple of shots the mountains were totally covered in clouds. The community has always helped me with some wonderful feedbacks. Hoping some CC for this one too.

That is an impressive shot of a great looking mountain. It is pretty much perectly judged and executed. I love the heavy dark base to the mountain/composition, giving it gravitas and forcing the eye to scan to the peak. It looks very very high just as it should, all good. Beautiful, too. Well done Yogesh.
Thank you Ian. I am happy you like it. All i could think at that moment was to capture that golden light. For a learner like me its always hit and miss. :)
I started studying photography full-time in 1975. Take it from me we are all still learners. And that is the fun of it.
You were of course, dead right, capturing the light was the trick. But that is always the essence of what we do.
