Pretty girl, beautifully made up and excellently photographed. What's not to like? Perhaps she looks a little sad, which given how nicely she is made up is kind of interesting, what's the story, here? Always good to wonder about the story. Lovely.

I find her right hand and left arm to be distracting.

Beautiful portrait and composition. I like the tilted/dutch angle that works nicely in this photo and the lighting is good, soft and diffused. The reflection of her hand on the rail is a nice touch. The only thing I can find that could use a bit of improvement is her eyes, I would brighten her eyes specifically the whites of her eyes just a tiny bit to make them stand out better. Also I wonder how the image would look with the white balance turned to a bit warmer tones.

I think the whte balance being cool sits well with the sadness. On the other hand, if she looked happier then yes a more summery feel would be good. Again the eyes might stand a boost, very slightly, if it were a happier portrait but I think it is just fine as is for this expression.

Agree with the others; especially the good stuff. What didn't work as well was her left arm; the angle makes it look a little shrunken. Perhaps put her arm down, with her hand at her neck? This would make her arm vertical (and longer looking, to even it out with the other). That might help sort out the area between the strap in her blouse and her sweater, too, which is a little confusing. Or cover that strap with the blouse, because it competes with her amazing necklace.

The reflection of her right hand....before I opened the image, I thought she was holding hands with someone.

Now you have opened it do you stll see it that way? For me it is totally fine, in fact I like it.

No, once I saw the full image it was clear regarding the hand. No problems with that any longer.

Thank you all so much for the advice. I'll play around with each idea and post again if I find improvement!
