Haha nope, not in this one. I felt a story in this shot, like she's hiding something. Both Kattie and I liked this one a lot. I have more from the shoot with her eyes showing of course, I'll be uploading soon. Thanks for commenting
I kinda like the composition, but the background on the left is somewhat distracting. It would be better if it was the same left and right of her. I like the expression.......it does leave me thinking how beautiful her eyes maybe. But again, I kinda like this pose.
Hey, thanks for the feedback. I like the pose as well, it leaves me wondering what she's up to. And her eyes, well, you're right about them and I'll be posting more from this session that will show you them :)
I really like this. Yes the background is a bit distracting but overall it is excellent. She looks lovely because she is but just as importantly becasue she has been very well photographed. The main reason the background is distracting is because it is quite bright, top left, But with a touch of side cropped off it would not matter and would balance better but who cares, is is almost pefect and we are being very tough. The whole colour palette, lighting, exression/masked eyes, depth of field, exposure, tonality, make up and any airbrushing, if there has been any a nice light touch, all work so well I don't care about the dark lines on the right, which would normally be irritating.
Wow, thanks a lot Ian! I appreciate the critique and details of what works and what doesn't. I didn't even notice the "dark lines" that are actually blades of grass coming from a garden, haha. Happy to hear I'm in the right direction.
It is a good picture and I like the composition and the story that it is telling, however I think that she is underexposed compared to the background and also suffering a bit from the "raccoon eye" effect. I would suggest a reflector placed at her midsection to lighten up the shadows and also to compensate for the low exposure.
No eyes?

95% and that takes some doing.

I can only write what I think and feel. I quite like the grass it is the horizontal line I dislike. Well done.

Hey Christian, I can see what you mean with the eyes and exposure. I may have missed it by a stop Thanks for the feedback!
