So I was asked by a co-worker who wasn't having a big wedding or anything to come and take some photos of it and do some post courthouse ceremony photos. I would like some feedback on these few photos. Both the bride and groom liked the photos so I guess thats a plus right. Mind you this was my first of this kind of thing.
Great work for a first wedding! There are many things that you can improve, which applies to all photographers by the way. Try to be your own critic. Compare your photos with photos of photographers that you like (and are maybe more experienced) and try to find the differences. Try to find what makes one photo nicer than the other. And while shooting, take your time (claim it) to get the shot that you want and don't quit until you get it. Of these photos, the black and white close-up is great because you have captured true emotions, even though it may have been a posed shot.
