Photography Just Got the First Automated Selfie Stick

Just when I thought the selfie stick game couldn't get any crazier, this pops up on my radar. Ever wondered how some people seem to always get the perfect selfie? How do they always get the right lighting? If you're into that sort of thing, this might be just the invention for you!

The ridiculous device is self-extending at the pace of one of those automated stair systems for elderly people and includes built-in fans to give you that Cover Girl feel in case you can't afford to have one of those fellows in the green spandex suits follow you around and toss your hair for you. And If you're worried about having too little light for your ever so important selfie, the Automated Selfie Stick also comes equipped with automatically extending soft lights from behind the phone, allowing you to somewhat balance the available light of the scene you're trying to capture of your face.

Showing off those built-in lighting modules for balancing light with that sunset scene behind the user.

Now for anyone that's super excited and ready to give up your hard-earned money for such a prize, don't hold your breath too long, as it appears this may be a gimmick produced for a TV show called "UnREAL." This could mean that this hilarious contraption may not see actual production anytime soon. That being said though, how many ridiculous things that have popped up in TV shows or movies have been recreated for sale to the general public just because they're so gimmicky that people would actually buy them? I have no doubt that these would absolutely fly off the shelf for no reason other than they're just ridiculous and would be a hilarious gag gift. I guess the only question remaining now is: who among you would actually buy such a thing?

Good luck using it. They're practically being banned from anywhere people gather.

You say that like it's a bad thing haha.

The selfie stick is something I wish we could dis-invent.

The beginning of the end of humanity was marked by the creation of the collapsible selfie stick.

The inventor of the selfie stick should beat himself with a stick...

It makes total sense for people with no common sense.
