18-month-old Augie is getting a head start in the modeling industry thanks to his uncle, New York-based model Aristotle Polites, and the adorable Instagram account they share. What began as an older sister teasing her younger brother by having her son imitate his uncle's modeling photos has turned into a social media following of over 28,000 people.
Augie's mom, Katina Behm, took the first photo of her son when he refused to wear his button-up plaid shirt. She said that the image of her son with his shirt half on made her laugh because it reminded her of the cover of a romance novel. "I took a picture and then realized, I bet my brother Aris has a picture just like this on his Instagram page which is filled with modeling photos," she told the Huffington Post. As luck would have it, she was right, and Behm used the photo, taken by photographer Royce Bugarin, to create a side-by-side image.
After creating the comparison of uncle and nephew, she sent the photo to her family, asking who wore the plaid shirt better. Because the family loved the photo so much, Behm created the Instagram account @babyandthebody, which features snapshots of Augie recreating his uncle's poses next to the original photos, to the vast enjoyment of her family and thousands of followers.
According to Behm, she and her brother get along great, sharing the same sense of humor. Polites even posts some of the side-by-sides on his own Instagram account.
She told Huffington Post, “We’ve always had a great younger brother/older sister relationship, lots of poking fun!”

I know a lot of very talented people in the medical profession who put in a honest day's work day in day out and their lives are not judge by social media followings.

I know such things are happening and I know a lot of "people" find such things "awesome" and "cool", but sincerely,. such things make me sad, and as photographer and a father are making me even less enthusiastic to take my child photos. poor kid on pictures up in the post,I feel sorry for him.
Jeez, lighten up. All it is is the older sister having fun with her younger brother and then it just took off. I'm sure the brother finds it hilarious and a lot of fun. I know I would!
Sounds like they have a great sibling relationship and this only helps it.
