My photographs are what they are.
I regard them as being, say, 'social documentary', 'other people' or 'documentary snapshot'. They are unrehearsed and document anything encountered walking down any street, but especially of the behaviour of other people.
The fascinating aspect of this style of photography, for me anyway, is that it freezes time. You have recorded a fraction of a second of life on earth that will never be seen again.
I don't use the term 'street photography' much anymore - it is much over used and has become a cliché.
