Maneki-neco are the "beconing cat" statues often seen in Japanese restaurants in the states. In Tokyo, there is a shrine that is dedicated to cats - Gotokuji Temple. It is located in Setagaya City and has thousands of Maneki-neco statues. You can purchase your own porcelain statues and leave them as an offering for good luck.
