Many years ago my wife and I ventured to Banff to hike and camp for a few days. It was our first time there and when she went to check out the gift shop, I went up the trail to check out the lake. I had seen pictures, but I was blown away by its beauty. I made this panoramic as a cloud passed in front of the sun making the lake this rich real color. Ir ran and got my wife and made a similar image 15 minutes later and the lake was beautiful with a rich turquoise color, but that deep teal was gone. I love this shot because it was one of those fleeting moments and my first time seeing this incredibly beautiful place.
Nikon D800, 28mm, f/16, 1/125, 10 shot panoramic.
