Lighted Canyon

A sunset shot overlooking the West Sea Grand Canyon, HuangShan Mountains Anhui province China. Last November I had the opportunity to visit here and spend a few days on top of the mountains, and this was taken on the last sunset of the trip. The views from here are stunning and standing there the scene looked like something prehistoric. We got some fantastic light just before sunset, with the canyon just being lit up, but unfortunately some low cloud rolled in and the sunset was a bit of a dud. Nevertheless, the whole area is just spectacular, and well worth a visit even if you aren't into photography.
